Abstract We propose a dark energy model based on the physics of critical phenomena which is consistent with both Planck's CMB and Riess et al.'s local Hubble measurements. In this density behaves like order parameter generic system undergoes phase transition. This means an emergent phenomenon we named it critically model, CEDE. CEDE, emerges at transition redshift, z c , corresponding to temperature in phenomena. Combining Planck data measurement constant from al. (2019) find statistically significant support for respect case very early that represents effectively cosmological constant. understandable since CEDE naturally prefers larger values Since non-trivial when consider high redshift measurements, conclude H 0 tension may be hint substructure as well-studied properties However if add BAO SNe datasets then lower value . still exist but milder than ΛCDM's.
